Vanarama National League, North and South, Team of the Mid-Week, March 25, 2025

Here are our selections for Team of the Week from the mid-week action across all three National League divisions.

GK – Harrison Male


Male was able to withhold Rochdale’s attack as York City beat the hosts 4-0.

The keeper now has two clean sheets in three games and made us for his double goal blunder last weekend against Braintree Town.


RB – Ryan Fallowfield


Fallowfield was able to score his first game of the season against York City.

Him and his defence also kept a clean sheet so It’s an all-round great performance for Fallowfield.


CB – Zak Mills


To end the scoring against Yeovil Town, Zak Mills was at the forefront. As Boston United won 3-0, Mills also grabbed a clean sheet to go alongside his goal.  


CB – Ryan Scott


Scott was a part of the team to end Hornchurch’s win drought with their first victory in five matches, Scott’s team won 1-0 against Worthing.


LB – Brad Nicholson


A clean sheet from the left sided defender was enough for him to make it in this week’s Team Of The Week. Boston United beat Southend United 3-0.


RM – Ryan Hemmings


Hemmings has earned himself a spot in the team as he was the only scorer in a 1-0 win against Brackley Town. The midfielder scored in the opening 5th minute.


CM – Frankie Maguire


Maguire joined the scoring for Boston United against Southend from midfield. The win will help Boston slowly crawl out of the relegation zone.


CM – Liam Waldock


It took Alfreton Town 78 minutes to break the deadlock against Leamington and it was Waldock that took it upon himself to score from central midfield to help his team win 1-0.  

 

LM – James Henry

 

The attacker is playing a little bit out of position here for the TOTW but his performance couldn’t go unnoticed. Henry came on n the 62nd minute to score a brace for Aldershot Town and encouraged his team to go and bat Wealdstone 3-1 after going a goal down.

 

ST – Ollie Pearce

 

Pearce was a part of the goal abundance for York City in which he bagged a brace. This double has now increased the front man's season tally of 24 goals.  

 

ST – Glen Taylor

 

The Spennymoor Town striker is the star of the week, after he bagged himself a hattrick in a tight 3-2 affair against Radcliffe. The Moors have now won their last four matches and have cemented themselves in 10th in the table.
