The Two games in the National League South you need to watch this weekend

Updated: Mar 28

First up Dorking Wanders versus Eastbourne Borough.

Two teams in the play-off places it is bound to be fireworks, with the Wanders struggling in recent games with only two wins in there last five League games it will be important to match the pace of the other play off teams.

Marc White knows what it takes to get promoted and with such a tight and competetive play off race White and his players have to be at there best in order to maintain there spot.

As for the visitors for the clash this weekend, Eastbourne Borough are unbeaten in there last seven games with five wins and two draws

.

Having beaten play-off rival Maidstone United 1-0 back in February so will know what it takes in order to win in a high stake match.

As well as that being unbeaten adds pressure for the Sports but at the same time it means confidence is at an all time high.

Adam Murray's men will know what they have to do in order to keep the pressure on Turo City and Worthing.

It certainly will be a brilliant watch this weekend.

As for the other game it has to be Maidstone United versus Boreham Wood.

Another Blockbuster in the South.

Maidstone go into this one in some fine form, five games unbeaten with three wins and two draws.

One of those draws came against play-off rival vs Dorking Wanders as Tom Leahy scored a 89th minute equalizer sending Gallagher Stadium wild.

George Elokobi took the Stones on a magical cup run last year in the FA Cup and will be looking for some more magic this weekend.

Boreham Wood on the other hand have suffered three defeats in there last five games.

Losing out to relegation candidates Weymouth 2-1, while also losing to play-off rivals Dorking Wanders in a 1-0 defeat at home.

The Wood also fell short against Turo City in a 2-1 defeat away from home and has seen the side dropped to sixth place.

Current form taken into account Maidstone United will certainly be feeling the more confident of the two.

This Saturday is important for all four teams which can see Dorking climb to second, Eastbourne Borough to first, Boreham Wood to fourth while Maidstone can go to sixth.

It will be fascinating to see how all sides in the play-off race get on but who will come out on top.
