We had the honor of travelling to the Blackwell Meadows to see Darlington take on p
The Quakers would be forced into settling for a draw as Caden Kelly first half freekick would be cancelled out by Kole Hall.
Here are our thoughts on a matchday experience at the National League North ground.
Attendance- 4/5
1,101 was the number on a cold Tuesday night and the Blackwell Meadows stadium was filled well with fans.
Considering most games we have been to on a Tuesday night the attendance had to applauded.

Atmosphere- 5/5
There was a drummer who simply did not stopping playing the drum for 90 minutes and this helped with the atmosphere in the ground.
It gave a beat and got plenty of Darlington fans joining in and singing so for us it gets 5/5.
On the eye- 3/5
Blackwell Meadows is a lovely stadium, it has a good seating stand which was full of fans and a standing area which had fans bouncing.
However, the opposite end from the standing stand had nothing with just one flag.
It feels like that could have more flags or turned into a stand in the future to add more character.

Facilities- 3/5
The facilities at Darlington was good with a nice bar area with food and drink.
Also had some nice pop ups around the ground to grab food as well.
However the hot dog I had on the day was poor, being in a brioche bun and being forced to cut up the hotdog to fit in the bun.
So for that it has been knocked down to 3/5.

Class- 3/5
It is a rugby ground as well as a football ground it has a great enterance and staff are kind and put a smile on your face.
The viewing area of the stadium are good, with plenty of options with and without cover.

Overall- 18/25
It was a fantastic experience at Darlington and would be a ground that we would visit again in the future.
For Quakers fans hopefully the team can finish the season strong.
